Bill #2795 – A bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 5A, Kauai County Code 1987, as amended, relating to real property tax (mixed use tax exemption)
The purpose of this Ordinance is to reduce the inequity of the real property tax code as it applies to mixed us buildings and to ensure that there is some incentive for building owners to convert their upstairs commercial space into residential use.
